The following is the full text of the message issued on January 20, 2017 by Ayatollah Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, to the participants of the 51st annual meeting of the Union of the Islamic Students Associations in Europe.
In the Name of God, the Most Beneficent, the Most MercifulDear young university students,
Being young and being a student can each assist man like a mighty impetus in achieving lofty goals. Apart from these two things, you also enjoy the advantage of being part of influential Islamic Associations. Proof is upon you. What is expected from you, dear ones, is beyond scientific, religious, and ethical edification; it is expected that you impact your surrounding atmosphere—by means of words and deeds—and attract more followers to the path of God. In the asymmetric war of the front of Kufr (disbelief) and arrogance against the raised flag of pure Islam, this is the duty for us all; we should each be a blessed springhead of correct Islamic knowledge and the divine straight path.
May your pure hearts be lively, hopeful, and bright.
